LunaVerta is built so that your files stay with you. This page explains what that means in practice.

Who is behind LunaVerta

LunaVerta is made and run by Midt-Tech, which is the data controller for this website.

Your files

Files you open in LunaVerta are read and converted by your own browser, on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Converted files are saved directly to your device. When you close the tab, nothing is kept.

No cookies, accounts or tracking

LunaVerta sets no cookies, uses no analytics, shows no ads and has no accounts. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies' servers. Because of this, there is no cookie banner.

What is stored on your device

  • Your settings (quality, size, language and so on), kept in your browser's local storage so they are there next time.
  • A copy of the app and its helper libraries, kept by your browser so LunaVerta works offline.
  • Whether you have closed the note about cookies, so it isn't shown again.

Both stay on your device. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Hosting

Like any website, the server that delivers LunaVerta's pages may briefly record technical request data, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the service running and secure. This data never includes your files. It is handled by our hosting provider under their own data-processing terms and is not used to identify or profile you.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you can ask what personal data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Since LunaVerta collects no personal data itself, there is usually nothing to hand over. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
